Delete your account

If you no longer want to use Inertiax (the mobile and web applications operated by InertiaX Technologies LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company), you can request that your account and associated personal data be deleted. This page explains exactly what happens, what gets deleted, what we are required to keep, and how to submit a request.

How to request deletion

You do not need an active account or a working app installation to request deletion. Use either of the methods below.

Option 1 — Email (recommended)

Send an email to support@inertiax.io from the email address that is on the Inertiax account you want deleted, with:

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request
  • Body:
    • "Please delete the Inertiax account associated with this email."
    • Optionally: a sentence confirming you understand that deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

We will reply within 5 business days acknowledging the request, and complete deletion within 30 calendar days of receipt.

Option 2 — In-app

Inertiax is currently a companion to the web account: account creation and account-management actions, including deletion, are handled through the email channel above. We will add a self-service "Delete account" button to a future update of the mobile and web apps; until then, the email channel is the supported deletion path.

What gets deleted

Within 30 calendar days of a verified deletion request we will permanently remove the following data from our production systems:

  • Your account record and authentication credentials.
  • Your profile (display name, avatar, role flags, preferences).
  • Your MetaTrader 5 / broker credentials and any cached connection state. Broker passwords are stored encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; on deletion the encrypted records and their associated keys are removed.
  • Your AI chat history and any saved analysis prompts.
  • Your Force Alerts, signal subscriptions, and any per-account analytics state.
  • Avatars and uploaded files in the avatars storage bucket associated with your account.

What we are legally required to keep

Some information is retained after deletion to satisfy legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and tax requirements under U.S. and other applicable law. Where retention is required, we de-identify the data wherever possible — your record is no longer linked to your name, email, or other identifiers.

Examples:

  • Server logs and audit trails (typically up to 12 months) showing request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, and timestamps. These are kept for security investigations and abuse prevention.
  • Aggregate, non-identifiable usage metrics (e.g. counts of API calls, feature usage) that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
  • Records related to a fraud, security, or legal dispute that is open at the time of deletion. Once the matter is closed, retention defaults apply.
  • Tax / accounting records where required by U.S. federal or state law.

We do not retain your broker credentials, AI chat content, or trading configuration after deletion.

Data shared with third parties

Inertiax uses a small set of vendors to operate the Service:

  • Supabase, Inc. — primary hosted database and authentication.
  • Anthropic and/or OpenAI — the AI providers that power chat-based market analysis. Chat content is sent to the provider in real time and is not retained by Inertiax in a long-term form linked to you after deletion.
  • Cloud-hosted MT5 connector services — used to relay broker credentials to your chosen MetaTrader 5 broker. Credentials are not shared with the broker beyond what is required to log into your account.

When you delete your Inertiax account, we delete the records we hold and, where applicable, instruct vendors to delete derivative data on a reasonable timeline. We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics SDKs.

Effect of deletion

  • Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot reactivate or restore a deleted account.
  • You may create a new Inertiax account in the future, but it will not be linked to or recover any of the data from the deleted account.
  • Any active broker connections are disconnected at the application layer. Inertiax does not delete or modify anything inside your MetaTrader 5 broker account itself — your broker is a separate service that you must contact directly if you also want to close that account.
